Hard times befall us all

So, as some of you may know, I am not only an artist and all around awesome person. But, I am also a wife and a mother of one. I do the stay-at-home mom thing with my four-year-old son.

Now, to the point. Yesterday my husband lost his job due to downsizing. He was our only source of income, other than the commissions I get once in a blue moon. His checks were how we paid our bills, our rent, and how we bought food.

I am not asking for hand-outs or anything, but if any of you feel the need to help, it will be met with much gratitude. I will do commissions, they are usually based on a piece by piece pricing structure. Note me with details and I can give you an estimate.

Yeah we don't have enough money to pay our house payment this month so I'm totally in the same boat as you. My dad got his work cut in half and my mom works at a private school and makes next to nothing. You just have to cut some luxeries, make sacrofices and stay strong because it'll all be alright in the end, believe me.

wow... is there no way for either of you to get a job sometime soon? Commissions are a good way of making extra pocket money, but I can't imagine living off those... :c I hope things get better for you soon :c

The economy here in the states is really terrible right now, finding a job anywhere is really hard and may take some time. For now we're just going to have to scrape by with what I can make. I hope so too, thanks for the well wishes.

I'm so sorry, Ami. >_< I'm sure everything'll work out, but until then good luck. I wish I could help you out somehow but I'm in college now so money's pretty tight on my end too. Is there anything else I can do to help? I'm not sure what I could do really but if there's anything I can do I'd be glad to try.
